We are very excited to welcome a new Accounts Payable Tower Leader to our team!
The role is based in our Budapest GSS (hybrid model combining office & remote work). You’ll join a team of agile, customer-focused thinkers who collaboratively solve difficult business problems.

Leadership:

• Manage a high-performance team, providing strong leadership and customer service focus (both internally and externally).
• Participate in the BSSC leadership team and actively support the development of the center.

Service Management:

• Ensure that service levels are in line with agreed SLAs and agreed governance procedures.
• Ensure strong collaboration with other Source-to-Pay stakeholders.
• Act as liaison (account manager) from a service management perspective for in-country organizations to represent the BSSC.

Professional accountability

• Be accountable for ensuring the delivery of Accounts Payable services, including invoice processing, exception management, vendor helpdesk, invoice payment processing, and overall process management, including related systems.

Performance improvement

• Promote the culture of continuous improvement, lead initiatives associated with end-to-end S2P processes.
• The manager AP will support the delivery of year-on-year service improvements and cost reduction to increase efficiency and will lead innovation and continuous improvement initiatives that enhance the service/optimize cost to increase value.

Compliance

• Ensure compliance to all internal and external regulatory/legal (e.g. SOX control and reporting requirements).
• Support internal & external audit.
• Other duties as ordered by the direct manager.

Job Requirements

• Excellent English language and communication skills both verbal and written.
• Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in Finance.
• Experience with managing a multi-cultural Team and with multi-geographies.
• University degree, preferable in Accounting.
• A good working knowledge of ERP systems and an excellent knowledge of Accounts Payable.
• Certified in Lean Six Sigma and/or having experience in driving process improvement initiatives.
• Excellent Microsoft Office skills, with an excellent Excel working knowledge.
• Lead by example – act as a role model
• Outstanding customer service attitude.
