JOB OVERVIEW:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable & Accounts Payable Clerk to join our accounting team. Responsibilities:
Accounts Receivable:
- Process, verify, and post customer payments accurately and timely.
- Generate and send out invoices to clients.
- Monitor customer accounts for non-payments, delayed payments, and other irregularities.
Assist with the preparation of aging reports and follow up on past-due accounts.Respond to customer inquiries regarding billing issues or payment discrepancies.
Accounts Payable:
- Review, verify, and process vendor invoices.
- Reconcile statements and verify vendor accounts.
- Prepare and process payments, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Assist in maintaining vendor files and managing vendor relationships.
- Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve payment discrepancies.
General:
- Assist with month-end closing tasks and general ledger reconciliation.
- Maintain organized and accurate records of all transactions.
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve any financial discrepancies.
- Provide administrative support to the accounting department as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Office Manager.
