Description:

Major Refrigeration Ltd. was established in 2012 by two HVAC and Refrigeration Mechanics. The company is based out of Grimsby, Ontario. Today the company consists of more than 140 employees, and continues to grow.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years experience in an Accounts Receivable or similar position
  • Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Team player with the ability to communicate and collaborate with others
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi task
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Willingness to learn new skills and software
  • Ability to work Monday to Friday, with flexibility to work shifts between 8:00am - 4:30pm

Responsibilities:

  • Track, prepare, send and follow up on construction draws, ensuring communication to the Management team (including Owners, Construction Managers and Coordinator)
  • Prepare invoices (using Quickbooks and simPRO) and send to customers (via email or customer portal), as needed
  • Review customer portals and simPRO to ensure accuracy and records are up to date
  • Generate and send customer account statements
  • Monitor customer accounts and follow up on outstanding balances (via email and phone calls), on a daily basis
  • Ensure outstanding accounts receivables are collected in a timely manner
  • Provide monthly metrics (draws and accounts receivables) to the management team
  • Other administrative duties as assigned
