Description:

Robert Half is partnering with a large organization that’s looking to add an Accounts Receivable Administrator to their Finance team. This is a full-time/permanent role.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Post-secondary education in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • High degree of technology literacy and proficiency in standard office equipment
  • Advanced communications skills
  • Superior organization skills and time/priority-management
  • Highly detail-oriented
  • Ability to work alone/independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Responsibilities:

  • Receive incoming cash, cheques and direct deposit information for contribution agreements, third parties, donations and other payments
  • Deposit cheques on a weekly basis, or as required
  • Prepare accounts receivable payment transactions and enter into the system
  • Contact provincial, federal and third party funders for payment on overdue accounts
  • Prepare invoices for reimbursements and ensure required documentation is received
  • Assist in the preparation of year-end working papers
  • Maintain Accounts Receivable files
  • Retrieve documents as required for audits/reviews
  • Assist with the quarterly reconciliation of accounts receivable customer subledger
  • Provide back-up to the other members of the Finance Branch as required
  • Other duties as may be assigned
