Description:

Fuel your professional journey with our dynamic Full-Time Engagement Professionals practice assisting a fuel distribution and equipment company based in Fort Worth, Texas on a project-basis. We’re seeking a dynamic Accounts Receivable Specialist with a keen focus on credit management, who is enthusiastic about pulling credit reports and mastering credit review. Part of our vibrant team, you’ll work on tasks in Accounts Receivable - Credit/Collections/Cash Management. We’re keen to hear from individuals with the necessary skills and experience for a permanent, full-time consultancy position with our company.

WE INVITE APPLICANTS WITH THE FOLLOWING EXPERIENCE:

  • Evaluate financial status and reputation of prospective customers applying for credit and make informed decisions on credit terms
  • Manage customer accounts, including setting up credit fields and maintaining the master customer file
  • Handle special credit arrangements and deviations from standard terms of payment
  • Oversee the Company’s largest and highest risk customer accounts to maintain positive customer relations and optimize collection and bad debt results
  • Perform routine credit reviews of existing customers to substantiate credit terms and communicate findings with management
  • Respond to credit inquiries on customers and release orders based on customer history and experienced judgement
  • Review collection reports to ascertain status of collections and balances outstanding and evaluate the effectiveness of current collection procedures
  • Audit delinquent accounts considered to be uncollectible to ensure adequate efforts have been taken before recommending bad debt status on an account
  • Establish and maintain good relations with credit managers of competitors for credit reference purposes
  • Assist management in the formulation of credit policies and prepare monthly reports on credit activities.
  • Proficiency in Accounts Receivable (AR) management
  • Practical knowledge of Billing Functions
  • Experience in managing Cash Activity
  • Understanding of Credit procedures and regulations
  • Capability to perform Credit Analysis
  • Experience in handling Credit Applications
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
  • Knowledge of financial regulations and legislation.
