SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate:

  • excellent written and verbal communication skills as they will be required to liaise with internal and external customers.
  • A flexible approach in recognition of weekly and monthly cycles in the work of the team, including the ability to provide out of hours support to operations as required
  • Excellent skills in Excel, including pivots and vlookups
  • Exceptional organisational and time management skills, with the ability to work quickly and accurately across a number of projects and activities
  • Ability to work with a small team, providing support and guidance to the business
  • Experience of working with accounting systems and in an accounts receivable environment

Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are currently recruiting for an Accounts Receivable Assistant to join our Finance Team at our Head Office in Warwick. We are ideally looking for someone with previous finance experience. They must be good with organisational and time management skills as at times they will be working to tight deadlines.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work with other team members to ensure:
  • Invoices are raised accurately and on a timely basis for all UK Alliance Medical companies
  • Cash is collected from customers by the due date
  • Monitor debtor account balances and chase for prompt payment
  • All queries from customers and colleagues are resolved efficiently and effectively
  • Providing exceptional customer service to internal and external customers throughout the month, with the ability to work flexibly through the month to deliver responsibilities
  • Identifying potential problems and suggesting solutions, being proactive and enthusiastic to change
  • Explaining financial issues to non-financial people in a meaningful way
  • Inquisitive and proactive in the use of technology
  • Maintaining and growing relationships with customers and staff, providing account management activities
    The hours of work are 40 per week and comes with generous benefits.
