WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Receivable (AR) Associate who is passionate about accuracy and efficiency in financial transactions. The ideal candidate will have:
- 3 - 5 years of experience in an Accounts Receivable or related position
- An Accounting or Business Administration diploma is considered an asset
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite and accounting software/ERP systems
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to demonstrate tact and diplomacy
- Strong analytical skills with proven attention to detail
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Creative problem-solving abilities and a positive attitude
- The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Responsibilities:
ABOUT THE ROLE
The Accounts Receivable (AR) Associate will focus primarily on the collection of outstanding invoices and conducting credit reviews in a timely manner, in alignment with internal accounting department procedures.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
As an Accounts Receivable (AR) Associate, you will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate processing of AR transactions in accordance with internal procedures and requirements. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Completing all collections processes for designated portfolios in alignment with established procedures and timelines
- Processing credit applications for new customers
- Posting bank deposits and managing petty cash
- Preparing reports for outstanding accounts receivable (AR) and providing them to the management team
- Processing repair and storage liens and discharges
- Analyzing and addressing internal invoicing issues
- Conducting required month-end tasks, including printing and emailing AR statements and preparing commentary for monthly aging reports
- Completing other accounting assignments as requested
