SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES

  • Finance Qualification: AAT or equivalent is desirable but not essential
  • At least 3 years’ experience in a sales leger or accounting role
  • Demonstrable strong written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to build strong relationships with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
  • Excellent organisational, planning and time management capabilities, with a high attention to detail.
  • Highly technically literate (experienced in using MS Office suite, CRM database systems, etc.).
  • Experience with Power BI would be highly advantageous
  • Proactive and outcome driven, with a solutions-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic work environment, prioritise competing demands, and adapt to changing needs.
  • Experience managing multiple simultaneous projects/tasks while meeting deadlines.

Responsibilities:

WHAT IS THE ROLE?

Reporting to Head of Finance the Accounts Receivable Business Partner will provide a high level of service to both internal and external stakeholders through effective management of the accounts receivable function, implementation of process improvements and ensuring compliance with accounting standards

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Management of the Accounts Receivable function including issuing quotes, invoices, maintaining
  • and updating member information.
  • Ensure prompt Member query resolution
  • Ensure all transactions are recorded accurately and promptly in the accounting system.
  • Monitor and reconcile accounts receivable balances, ensuring discrepancies are resolved
  • Implement and maintain effective credit control procedures.
  • Draft Member Variation agreements
  • Complete month end processes and compile reports.
  • Design and implementation of best practice processes and reporting to support the organisation
  • with timely and relevant information.
  • Review and enhance sales ledger processes and systems to improve accuracy and efficiency.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation and information.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders as a trusted
  • partner, understanding priorities and advocating for process enhancements, ultimately better
  • serving Lhasa’s membership organisations.
  • Champion Lhasa’s values and proactively promote our workplace culture.
