Accounts Receivable Clerk

We are seeking a sharp and detail-oriented Entry-Level Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our growing finance team. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, has a strong work ethic, and is passionate about building a career in accounting and finance. This role offers an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or those with limited experience to gain hands-on experience in accounts receivable and financial operations.

Process and manage accounts receivable transactions, including issuing invoices, recording payments, and following up on outstanding balances.
Reconcile customer accounts and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
Assist with preparing and maintaining accurate financial records, reports, and statements.
Communicate with customers regarding payment terms, invoices, and account balances.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and efficient billing and collections processes.
Support the month-end and year-end closing processes.
Perform data entry and maintain organized records of all transactions.
Assist with ad-hoc projects and tasks as needed by the finance team.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
Prior experience in an accounting or finance role (including internships) is a plus, but not required.
