Description:
We are located in Phoenix, Arizona and are in the process of recruiting an Accounts Receivable Clerk. This role is centered in the industry of finance and accounting and provides an opportunity to transition from a contract to a hire employment basis. The position includes processing and managing client billing, maintaining accurate records, and handling client interactions, among other responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
- Managing daily processing of financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Overseeing client billing and monitoring incoming payments.
- Handling adjustments and time entry, ensuring all records are up to date and accurate.
- Maintaining a thorough understanding of bookkeeping practices.
- Utilizing software such as Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP to manage, organize, and analyze data.
- Engaging in regular client interaction to resolve inquiries and maintain positive relationships.
- Working with the Accounts Receivable (AR) team to manage account reconciliation.
- Processing and monitoring cash applications and collections.
- Utilizing Microsoft Excel for data management and processing.
- Undertaking any other duties as assigned, with a focus on accountability and flexibility.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP
- Experience in Account Reconciliation and Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Knowledge of Billing procedures and Cash Applications
- Capabilities in handling Cash Collections and Commercial Collections
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Accounts Receivable role or similar.
