Accounts Receivable Clerk

We are in the market for an Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team in the retail industry based in Southlake, Texas. This role involves managing customer accounts, processing credit applications, and maintaining efficient customer records within a hybrid workspace. This position offers a short term contract employment opportunity.

• Handle full cycle Accounts Receivable operations including invoicing clients through multiple portals and email, and inputting data into accounting software (MS Dynamics)
• Manage cash receipt and application, as well as collection reporting and emails
• Track and report Purchase Orders (PO)
• Handle heavy Excel work such as creating pivot tables on specific data, coding all activity, and integrating most AR invoices into Microsoft Dynamics
• Perform account reconciliations specifically AR sub-ledger to General Ledger and Client Portals to AR sub-ledger
• Ensure accountability and ownership, strong organizational and time management skills, and strong communication skills (verbal and written)
• Follow-up and close out all tasks/questions timely and proactively
• Demonstrate the ability to work well in a team environment and problem solve
• Pay close attention to detail and have the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Learn from mistakes and avoid repeating the same errors
• Adapt to a complex coding structure and demonstrate flexibility and a positive attitude in switching gears/tasks.
• Possession of strong skills in Account Reconciliation and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Proficiency in Billing, Cash Applications, and Cash Collections is required
• Experience with Commercial Collections is a must
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP
• Previous experience in a retail environment is preferable
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Detail-oriented and able to work with high levels of accuracy
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proven ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• High level of integrity and trustworthiness
• Willingness to continuously learn and adapt to new processes and systems
