Description:
We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Clerk in FALL RIVER, Massachusetts. You will be working in a dynamic environment where you will be responsible for maintaining and reconciling account balances, processing customer credit applications, and managing a variety of financial transactions.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze and reconcile general ledger reports to ensure accuracy
- Manage and record Accounts Receivable, ensuring all transactions are accurately documented
- Handle bank deposits and withdrawals, maintaining accurate records of all transactions
- Utilize online resources to identify direct deposits
- Compare billing receivable report against accounting receivable balances to identify discrepancies
- Collaborate with the billing department to resolve any discrepancies in receivables
- Prepare and organize information for various internal and external audits
- Respond promptly and professionally to any requests or inquiries from the agency or supervisor
- Utilize skills in Account Reconciliation, Accounts Receivable (AR), Billing, Cash Applications, and Cash Collections to ensure efficiency and accuracy in all tasks.
- Proficiency in Account Reconciliation and Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Experience with Billing processes and systems
- Demonstrated skills in Cash Applications
- Practical understanding of Cash Collections
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
- Experience with accounting software is a plus
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Strong problem-solving skills and analytical abilities
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality of financial data.
