Accounts Receivable Clerk

We are seeking an Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team in SCHAUMBURG, Illinois. This role is crucial in maintaining financial records including cash receipts, customer account adjustments, and resolving account irregularities. The position offers a contract-to-hire employment opportunity.

• Accurately process customer credit applications in a timely manner
• Maintain and update customer credit records regularly
• Respond to customer inquiries, resolving any issues or discrepancies
• Monitor customer accounts and perform necessary actions to manage non-payment and delayed payment
• Ensure the accurate execution of account reconciliation
• Handle cash applications effectively
• Conduct cash collections from customers when necessary
• Utilize Microsoft Excel, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP for various accounting tasks and reporting
• Engage in commercial collections operations
• Oversee the billing process, ensuring all invoices are issued in accordance with company policies.
• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation
• Experience with Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Ability to manage Billing processes
• Familiarity with Cash Applications
• Prior experience in Cash Collections
• Understanding of Commercial Collections
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required
• Experience with Oracle software
• Familiarity with QuickBooks
• Prior experience with SAP software
