THE OPPORTUNITY:
Join Fitness & Lifestyle Group’s (FLG) dynamic finance team in Brisbane’s vibrant West End as our Accounts Receivable Manager!
In this pivotal role, you’ll oversee the Accounts Receivable processes for FLG’s Australian group (including Goodlife Health Clubs, Fitness First, Zap Fitness 24/7 and Barrys), ensuring accuracy and efficiency in a high-volume, fast-paced environment while maintaining compliance with accounting standards.

Responsibilities:
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:
- Liaising with relevant managers, clubs, departments and customers to coordinate sales invoicing activities and investigation of any issues
- High volume data entry of varied sales invoices from multiple source systems, via direct invoice entry and bulk system upload
- Debtor management, master data maintenance and accounts receivable reporting
- Receipting payments, debt collection, preparing and distributing statements
- Assist in management of company bank accounts and merchant agreements, completing bank reconciliations, investigating balancing issues, and posting adjustments
- Complete and/or review balance sheet reconciliations for accounts receivable accounts
- Complete and/or review daily and monthly POS reconciliations to various POS systems, variance analysis including follow up on any variances (overs/unders), and posting journal adjustments
- Preparation of daily and weekly cash flow spreadsheets
- Process month end reconciliations and journals, including cash in transit, unders/overs and accruals for any revenue receivable and banking or merchant fees
- Preparation of audit workpapers and reconciliations that meet group external audit requirements
