Description:

We are searching for an Accounts Receivable (AR) Manager for a long-term contract opportunity. The primary role of the AR Manager will be to oversee the entire AR process from billing to collections, with a strong emphasis on process improvements. Your main goal will be to help refine, shape, and improve AR systems, strategies, and procedures to maximize efficiency and productivity while maintaining tight control over the credit offered to customers.

REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field required.
Proven experience as an Accounts Receivable Manager or Supervisor.
Proficiency in MS Office and relevant accounting software.
Excellent leadership and organizational skills with a focus on enabling team members to deliver quality results.
Strong understanding of billing and financial concepts
Excellent communication skills and a hands-on management style.
A critical thinker with strong problem-solving skills.
Ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
An individual who has demonstrated effectiveness in bringing about process improvements.

Responsibilities:

Oversee and streamline billing and collections processes.
Plan and implement quality assurance for all processes.
Handle customer queries, reconcile customer accounts, and manage internal communications about AR operations.
Develop new strategies to improve efficiency in AR operations.
Develop, implement and maintain processes and policies to ensure adherence to company guidelines.
Interface regularly with clients, ensure credit checks are completed, and define credit terms.
Assist management in the formation of fiscal metrics and the analysis of AR data.
Create and implement strategies to increase the number of successful collections on outstanding debt.
Identify process improvements and implement necessary changes to reduce redundancy, improve accuracy, and increase efficiency.
Collaborate with other departments to test and implement new processes
