You would be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely billing of patients accounts following discharge. Liaising with health funds for the purpose of reviewing accounts and following up outstanding debt and responsible for the processing of receipts for patient accounts.
About the role
We are looking for an enthusiastic administrator to join our diverse, compassionate and dedicated team to provide effective and efficient administrative support and customer service in a busy health care setting. Our Accounts Receivable Officer plays a key role in liaising with staff, patients and health funds and ensuring the delivery of exemplary customer service.
What you bring
Proven ability to provide high-quality customer service, handling enquiries and concerns professionally and courteously
Ability to effectively communicate with patients, health funds, and internal stakeholders Demonstrated computer literacy with accurate and proficient keyboard skills
High level of competency in MS Word, Excel and Outlook
Demonstrated ability to plan and establish work priorities, meet deadlines consistently and manage time efficiently
Demonstrated ability to accurately enter and process data with minimal errors, with a high level of attention to detail
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with colleagues in a team environment
