Responsibilities:
ABOUT THE ROLE …
We currently have a great opportunity for an experienced Accounts Receivable Officer in our Canberra offices. This role will be responsible for providing high quality services and achieving efficiencies. Directly engaged in the operations of the business, the role is accountable for enhancing the reputation and image of Evolve FM through exemplary customer interaction and service delivery. The Accounts Receivable Officer will support and assist the Finance Team in undertaking the day-to-day Accounts Receivable function and to support the Client Teams as required.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:
- First point of contact for Accounts Receivable (AR) queries at Evolve FM.
- Ensuring service delivery meets and ideally exceeds client expectations and established service levels and/ or benchmarks.
- Work to defined procedures and outputs keeping Evolve FMs image and reputation at the forefront of performance of role.
- Process with 100% accuracy all accounts receivable (debtor) transactions for all clients in accordance with accounting policies and protocols; liaising with the client team for clarifications.
- Prepare and send invoices, statements and credit notes and adjustments to clients & sublessees as required.
- Liaise with the Service Delivery teams to ensure that clients are invoiced correctly and efficiently.
- Process debtor receipts, follow up outstanding debts and reconcile outstanding debtors each month.
- Review outstanding debtors and provide information to the Finance Director and the Service Delivery teams.
- Maintain the Bank Reconciliation and work with the Finance Team to process all transactions associated therewith.
- Map and document all changes in Accounts Receivable and Bank Reconciliations processes and procedures to
- ensure consistent best practices are employed, and controls are always in place.
- Maintain the integrity and accuracy of the Accounting System through accurate and timely transaction processing.
- Assist Manger with continuous process improvement, problem solving and best practice reviews
- Assist the Client team and Finance Director in other activities as required from time to time.
