Accounts Receivable Specialist

We are in search of an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team in Battle Creek, Michigan. This role involves handling accounts receivable duties in the construction industry. This is a short term contract employment opportunity that requires a high level of expertise in accounting software systems and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

• Operate accounting software systems to manage accounts receivable functions
• Use Microsoft Excel to maintain and analyze financial data
• Work within Microsoft Office Suites to create reports and presentations
• Handle accounts receivable (AR) tasks, including billing functions and check processing
• Monitor cash activity and collaborate with teams to ensure accurate financial records
• Utilize knowledge of the construction industry to understand and manage accounts
• Collect and process collectibles according to established procedures
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and accurate financial operations.
• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems
• Advanced skillset in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suites
• Solid understanding of Accounting Functions including Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Experience in Billing Functions and Cash Activity
• Familiarity with Check Processing procedures
• Knowledge of Construction industry accounting is a plus
• Experience with Collectibles accounting
• Strong Collaboration skills to work effectively with various teams and departments
