Description:

We are seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team in PHOENIX, Arizona. The individual will be responsible for managing customer accounts, processing applications, and resolving inquiries in the heavy equipment industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently and accurately process customer credit applications
  • Oversee the full cycle of the cash application process
  • Maintain accurate records of customer credit
  • Answer and research customer calls and inquiries
  • Develop and implement strategies for collection of delinquent accounts
  • Manage and prioritize a caseload of overdue accounts, tracking progress and taking necessary action
  • Analyze collection data to identify trends and develop strategies for improvement
  • Prepare and maintain accurate records and reports on collection activities and performance metrics
  • Assist in collecting information (i.e. Credit application, credit report & trade references) to establish new accounts
  • Maintain various lists (Late Fee/Refund/Tax)
  • Provide corrected invoices as needed due to Tax
  • Handle special projects as assigned.
  • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation
  • Demonstrable experience in Accounts Receivable (AR)
  • Familiarity with Billing procedures
  • Expertise in Cash Applications
  • Experience in Cash Collections
  • Proficiency in Commercial Collections
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to work in a team and collaborate effectively
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of financial regulations and legislation
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
