Description:

We are looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team located in Syosset, New York. The role focuses on managing and reconciling payments received through web portals, processing these payments, and reconciling them with invoices. This is an excellent opportunity to grow your skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and reconcile payments received through customer portals.
  • Process payments received through web portals in an efficient manner.
  • Reconcile portal payments with invoices to ensure accurate records.
  • Resolve any discrepancies and billing issues that may arise in the process.
  • Generate and analyze reports on portal payment activities and trends.
  • Provide customer support by addressing concerns related to payment processing.
  • Utilize your skills in accounts receivable and account reconciliation to decrease Days Sales Outstanding (DSO)
  • Manage appeals on disputes.
  • Proficiency in using Customer Portal and Web Portals
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in Accounts Receivable (AR)
  • Strong skills in Dispute Resolution
  • Research and provide back up for appeals.
  • Resolve any discrepancies and billing issues that may arise in the process.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Detail-oriented with high levels of accuracy
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite especially Microsoft Excel functions.
  • Understanding of basic accounting principles
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information discreetly
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is preferred
    Experience in the Health Care industry is a plus
