Description:
We are in the search for a skilled Accounts Receivable Supervisor/Manager to be a part of our team. The role is based in San Diego, California and revolves around the management of customer accounts, processing credit applications, and maintaining accurate records. This role is crucial in the Accounting industry and requires a strong understanding of various software systems and functions.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage the accounts receivable department and staff
- Oversee the processing of customer credit applications, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer credit records
- Resolve customer inquiries related to their accounts and credit applications
- Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate actions as needed
- Utilize software systems like 3M, ADP - Financial Services, Concur, and CRM for various accounting functions
- Supervise accounts payable and accounts receivable activities
- Conduct auditing tasks as required
- Oversee billing functions to ensure accuracy and timeliness
- Implement and manage various accounting functions and systems.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role such as Accounts Receivable Supervisor or Manager
- Proficiency in using 3M and ADP - Financial Services
- Experience with Accounting Software Systems and Concur
- Familiarity with CRM and auditing practices
- Demonstrated ability to manage accounting functions
- Knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Experience in handling billing functions
- Effective communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is preferred
- Professional certification such as CPA is a plus.
