Description:
Robert Half is partnering with a growing Non-Profit in the Denver area on an Accounts Receivable Manager opening.
The Accounts Receivable (AR) Manager with Grants and Contract Review will manage the organization’s accounts receivable process, ensuring timely collection of payments and compliance with grant and contract requirements. This role is pivotal in overseeing revenue streams from donors, foundations, government contracts, and other funding sources. The AR Manager will collaborate with program and finance teams to ensure that financial reporting, invoicing, and revenue recognition adhere to contract terms, grant agreements, and organizational policies.
Key Responsibilities :Accounts Receivable Management :
Oversee the end-to-end accounts receivable process, including billing, invoicing, and payment collections.
Ensure timely and accurate recording of incoming payments and maintaining up-to-date records in the accounting system.
Monitor AR aging reports and work with relevant departments to resolve outstanding receivables.
Develop and implement strategies to improve the organization’s cash flow and reduce receivable collection time.
Reconcile AR ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted.
Prepare monthly AR reports and updates for the Finance Director and leadership team.
QUALIFICATIONS :
Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounts receivable management, preferably in a nonprofit setting.
Strong understanding of nonprofit grant management, contracts, and compliance requirements.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
