Responsibilities:
ABOUT THE ROLE
The Accounts Receivable Support Officer is a vital in providing support to the Finance Department with the allocation of customer bank receipts to invoices in the ERP system. It also assists branches in ad hoc Accounts Receivable matter.
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Processing credit note applications received by branches
- Ensuring credit authorisation process is occurring for all credit requests
- Working with Accounts Receivable to deal with customer invoice queries
- Maintain and update debtor module in ERP system (M3).
- Perform cash allocations
- Accurate and timely allocation of customer payments by ensuring customer payments are allocated to the M3 sub ledger in a timely and accurate manner
- Ensuring that credit note application forms are approved in full
- Ensuring that information is on hand to correctly allocate customer payment actions
- Uploading of TMHA invoices into customer systems/portals
- Assistance to branch Accounts receivable teams where required
- Backup to AP where required
- Other Finance duties as required
