Responsibilities:

In this vital role you will be responsible to lead a team with a direct reporting line. You will also partner with business process in Europe, Latin America, Middle East & Africa and Canada (ELMAC) countries to source goods and/or services aligned with Amgen’s sourcing policies and processes in order to deliver business requirements at fair market value total cost and minimize risk exposure. On the other hand, you will also have more responsibilities that includes the following:

Strategic contribution

  • Support GSS Director in development of broad global sourcing programs/initiatives
  • Translate GSS business plans into objectives for the ACCP Sourcing team
  • Accountable for leading the ACCP Sourcing Team and delivery of team results
  • Accountable to meet or exceed productivity ACCP target for the region
  • Be a thought partner and actively challenge work, to deploy the most comprehensive and creative solutions; furthermore, removes barriers for the team to support and execute
  • Drive ACCP GSS transformation:
  • Define a road map for ACCP Team transformation
  • Establish solid working relationships with each affiliate/sub region
  • Partnering with Country Sourcing Managers to support the ACCP GSS Transformation
  • Work very closely with the countries supported (Financial Director, Business Partners)
