Description:
NATURE OF WORK
The principal and customary work of the employee in this employment class consists in performing a set of administrative functions of a relatively complex nature according to established methods and procedures and clerical functions related to activities in their area.
QUALIFICATIONS
To have a diploma of vocational studies (DEP) with appropriate specialty or a secondary school diploma (DES) or have a diploma or an attestation of studies which is recognized as equivalent by the competent authority and have at least one (1) year of pertinent experience.
Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the Office of Academic Development (OAD) team;
- Organize, set-up and assist with meetings, workshops and events (e.g., organizing materials, catering, equipment, room bookings, etc.);
- Support and assist Pedagogical counsellors in their various tasks;
- Produce a wide variety of documents and reports related to the various dossiers of the OAD;
- Update information on SharePoint, Teams sites and websites;
- Process documentation related to budgets, inventory, expenses reports, purchasing, etc;
- Act as a departmental contact person in the dissemination of information related to internal and external inquiries (e.g., College departments, programs, and services; other CEGEPS, etc.);
- Process booking requests for the rooms managed by the OAD and act as resource person on the use of equipment in these rooms;
- Carry out various clerical tasks as needed;
- Perform other related tasks.
