Description:
The Commander Marine Corps Systems Command (MCSC) established Program Manager, Wargaming Capability (PM WGC) to develop and field a system of systems to fulfill the capability gaps identified in the Wargaming Capability Initial Capability Document (ICD). Vintun provides enterprise support to PM WGC.
The PM WGC is responsible for all aspects of acquiring the capabilities defined within the WGC ICD that will focus on providing a state-of-the-art Wargaming Center. The PM WGC requires experienced acquisition logistics support in order to stay on the aggressive schedule projected and meet prototyping, system acquisition, system delivery, and system sustainment. Vintun provides direct support to the PM WGC Team in their duties to enable the development and implementation of the necessary war gaming capabilities for the new USMC Wargaming Center. We are actively seeking to fill a position for a Mid-Level Program Analyst supporting the PM WGC.
- Experience supporting a DoD program office to Initial Operation Capability
- Assist in managing IT installation and testing efforts
- Develop and provide acquisition documentation and product support through research, editing, analysis, update, and review all acquisition related documents IAW DoD 5000 / MAG that will assist the Government customers in getting technology / capability sets through the acquisition phases and milestones.
- Support customers in task tracking, meeting minutes, documentation reviews, guidance and programmatic recommendations and calendar tracking.
- Develop briefs, reports, information papers, presentation material, talking points, and prepare drafts of official correspondence.
- Strong oral and written communications skills along with the ability to incorporate and integrate the writing of others into a smooth, comprehensive, readable document.
- Experience evaluating and overseeing program execution of near-term, mid-term, and long- term requirements.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple taskings concurrently.
- Solve, or recommend solutions of problems or risks that arise during program life cycle phases.
- Ability to work independently in a fast paced, high visibility program office while balancing multiple workstreams.
- Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Compensation Minimum: $75,000
Compensation Maximum: $120,000
Job Requirements:
- Highly desired: Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act Level I or II qualified or equivalent education and experience in IT Program Management
- Prior working knowledge of the Marine Corps and Marine Corps Acquisitions
- Experience: 3-7 years
- Education: BS
- Excellent Writing skills
- Above average skills with MS Office programs
- Minimum Security Clearance level: Must possess an active SECRET clearance at a minimium, TS/SCI preferredWork Location: Stafford, VA or Quantico Hybrid role- a few days remote, a few days in office.Travel: 10%
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time. Position may require typing and reading from a computer screen. Must have sufficient mobility, including but not limited to bending, reaching, and kneeling to complete daily duties in a timely and efficient manner. There is a possibility that due to parking availability and location of work, walking moderate to long distance may be required. Possible lifting up to 25lbs. Due to this being a contract position working for the US government all candidates must be a U.S. citizen and pass a criminal and financial background check as well as a drug test.
