Acrylic/UV Gel Nail Technician

Varnish is thriving nail salon in the heart of Yaletown. We are expanding our team, and looking to add another nail technician!
We are in a transit-accessible location, two minutes away from the Yaletown-Roundhouse skytrain station.
Job Responsibilities
- Acrylic, UV gel, Bio Sculpture application
- Regular manicures and pedicures
- Gel Polish Manicures and Pedicures including applications only
- Nail art skills
- Client consultation
- Prepare and clean beauty station in-between appointments
- Sterilize equipment before use, proper sterilization knowledge required
- Give hand and foot massages
- Offer nail care treatment tips (e.g. how to strengthen nails and how to make manicures last longer)
- Up-sell treatments and beauty products, when appropriate
- Take an interest in customers (e.g. chatting with them during appointments and remembering their preferences)

Requirements
- Must know how to apply Acrylic and UV gel with a minimum of 4 years experience
- Motivated to learn and work hard to build up clientele

- Be well-kept and professional-looking
- Be prompt and possess a good sense of time
- Have a diploma/certificate from a valid nail program/esthetics school

Compensation will depend on skill set and experience.
