YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:
The Hobart Class Combat System (HCCS) is at the forefront of advanced naval technology and provides the strategic advantage for Defence.
Based at Garden Island, you will join the broader Muti-Domain Combat System (MCDS) Team within LMA.
As the Aegis Logistics Representative, you will be responsible for providing Integrated Logistics Support services for the Aegis Combat System (ACS) to the Destroyer Enterprise through the following key responsibilities:
- Liaise with key stakeholders including US Navy, Lockheed Martin Corporation, Royal Australian Navy & CoA personnel in the sustainment of Foreign Military Sales (FMS) equipment, including prioritizing, tracking, and delivery of Aegis Weapon System (AWS) material items.
- Engage with In-Service Engineering Agents (ISEA) through the FMS cases to deliver Logistic Support Analysis Services in support of Engineering Changes on the Hobart Class Combat System.
- Undertake sparing analysis, inventory management, equipment obsolescence management, and logistics product development in accordance with the Life Cycle Sustainment Management Plan (LCSMP).
- Coordinates and controls the prioritization, tracking and delivery of the Aegis Combat System assets, resolves logistics problems and provides associated correspondence and documentation.
- Provide a high level of support to ensure on time delivery for internal and external customer orders are met.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Extensive experience with Enterprise Resource Planning and/or Material Requirement Planning and/or Inventory Management Systems.
- Extensive experience liaising with service contractors and service providers.
- Extensive experience in MILIS or SAP
