MEMBERSHIPS, SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

• ECS/ JIB Gold Card – Approved Electrician (Minimum)
• ECS/ JIB Black Card – Electrical Site Manager (Desirable)
• Completed Electrical Apprenticeship or equivalent.
• City & Guilds Level 3 Electrical Installation or equivalent
• City & Guilds 18th Edition Regs or equivalent
• City & Guilds 2391 or equivalent
• SSSTS or SMSTS or IOSH equivalent
• City & Guilds LV Authorised Person or equivalent.
• Full First Aider
• Fire Awareness & Safety

ABOUT THE ROLE

Acting as a Working Supervisor (Electrical Bias). Responsible under CDM:2015 as Site Manager/ Supervisor who reports directly to the Project Manager/ Contracts Engineer. Responsible for productivity on site in line with the project timing plan (programme)

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for all aspects of H&S and deliverables on site
• Translation of site plans & detailed design drawings – Civils & Electrical
• Attend weekly meetings with the project team.
• Interaction with clients/ stakeholders
• Installation of Electrical & Control Systems
• Installation of Cable Containment Systems
• Electrical Testing & Commissioning
• Low Voltage Switching
• Electrical Safe Isolation Procedures
• Daily Control and Management of Permits and Inspections
• Implement & Maintain Safe Systems of Work.
• Responsible for daily permits and weekly H&S audits.
• Supervision of operatives and subcontractors under their responsibility.
