Action Officer
Action Officer
KBR is seeking a highly qualified Action Officer (AO) to support the National Reconnaissance Office (NRO) Ground Enterprise Directorate (GED). Primary responsibilities include aligning activities and resources to ensure successful operations and sound recommendations. The position is responsible for adherence to applicable Agency policies and guidance with respect to coordination and action tracking processes. The AO establishes and maintains effective working relationships with customers and other stakeholders of the Directorate/Office both internally and externally.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Active TS//SCI with CI Poly
  • 10+ years’ experience
  • Desired - Bachelor’s/Associate degree in any discipline
  • Prior experience with the target agency; knowledge of organizational structure, missions, and business processes
  • Demonstrated experience working with senior executives

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and provide clear taskings to the appropriate offices, solicit responses, and consolidate the information from requisite sources to provide coherent, defendable, accurate, complete, consistent, and relevant deliverables for Government review and approval.
  • Coordinate with the Senior Executives to assign tasks, track, and coordinate questions directed to Program leadership received from other directorates
  • Coordinate responses and assess for accuracy prior to senior management review
  • Monitor process on actions, generate metrics to demonstrate accountability for meeting deadlines and quality expectations; prepare periodic reports on action status and keep leadership aware of late, pending, new actions
  • Disseminate policy and legislative changes to appropriate parties internal to the Agency
  • Draft, proofread, edit and provide final review of internal and external correspondence
  • Coordinate and maintain presentations for audiences up to the Agency level; maintain a quality control process for all presentations
  • Support development and coordination of Weekly Activity Reports
  • Other duties as assigned
