Our Pensions Advisory business continues to grow and we are now looking for a number of experienced Senior Actuary Consutlant with GMP experiences to join one of our vibrant offices in Reading, London, Manchester, Birmingham, Belfast, Edinburgh, Guildford or Leeds with hybrid working on a full time or part time basis. This is an exciting role and would most likely suit someone with previous experience as a qualified actuary.

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL NEED TO DEMONSTRATE THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS:

Responsibilities:

We are looking for a number of qualified actuaries to join our GMP Equalisation team. We have a unique approach to solving the problems around GMP and are looking for technically minded people to join our large GMP team.
Though previous experience in GMP calculations is an advantage, a desire and ability to grasp complex actuarial concepts and find solutions to them is a requirement.

As a GMP Equalisation Specialist with XPS you will:

  • Working initially as part of the GMP team to assist clients solve their challenge of GMP. This includes but is not limited to:
  • Reviewing and signing off on complex actuarial models and calculations
  • Reviewing written advice to clients on this topic
  • Can include, if desired, delivering that advice to clients in meetings
  • Regular liaison and communication with the GMP team, client team and other departments in XPS.
  • As the GMP projects wind down, we will be able to provide a wider technical career being involved in a variety of technical focused avenues.
  • Opportunity to get involved in specialist research and development teams in areas that interests you. These teams provide resources and ideas for the wider team.
