Summary:
SJC is seeking a detail-oriented Ad Operations Technician to join our advertising team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the technical setup, monitoring, and reporting of digital advertising solutions. As an Ad Operations Technician, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful operation of advertising activities.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an Ad Operations professional with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Familiarity with ad-serving platforms, ad networks, and programmatic advertising.
  • Understanding of ad trafficking, tracking, and troubleshooting technical issues.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and troubleshoot technical problems.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, and other relevant technologies in the digital advertising space is a plus.
  • Experience working with ad verification tools is a plus.
  • Experience with accounting or book-keeping principles is a plus.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and evolving digital advertising landscape.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Ad Operations Campaign Manager and other internal stakeholders in the planning and configuration of digital advertising campaigns, including forecasting, campaign setup, and troubleshooting.
  • Utilize ad compliance solutions to ensure that ad creatives and website content meet technical, regulatory, and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with SJC Accounts Receivable on Month-End reporting and payment reconciliation against revenue reports via ‘Aging Reports’.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of documentation related to ad operations processes and best practices.
  • Provide support to internal teams and clients in addressing technical inquiries or issues related to ad operations.
  • Assist in the implementation of new ad technologies and features.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and updates, especially in ad technology and digital marketing.
  • Carry out Ad Hoc investigations as required.
