We are seeking a diligent, detail-driven technical program management professional to support our Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) Embedded Software development activities. This involves applying Technical Program Management engineering principles and analytical techniques in support of delivering embedded platform software for the next generation of ADAS ECUs.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with key stakeholders to define, scope, prioritize, and deliver major ADAS software initiatives that span multiple teams and multiple organizations across Ford.
- Apply technical project planning, management, and leadership for the development and delivery of ADAS Embedded Software (hand-coded or MBD-based)
- Apply technical project planning, management, and leadership for the development and delivery of software tooling and/or support software to advance ADAS product development
- Implement and execute roadmaps, schedules, project plans, and resourcing plans to enable ADAS teams to meet commitments across all customer constituencies
- Lead team members on modern, world-class, software development practices, and precise execution of a technical plan (including management of milestone progress, dependency tracking, risk management, and risk mitigation)
- Lead and interface with cross-functional teams – Systems, Software, Feature, Suppliers, Manufacturing, V&V, and Quality – to define and drive development plans, ensuring on time SW delivery with highest quality
- Apply technical knowledge and capabilities to partner with technical leaders and to drive resolution on technical issues and cross-functional dependencies
- Facilitate effective communication to drive alignment within the team as well as to a broad stakeholder and leadership community
- Proactively identify and manage project risks, developing mitigations and/or recovery plans in event of project slipsEfficiently utilize work management tools – Wiki, JIRA, Project Management Tools – to make plans and status visible to leadership and to provide strategic planning options/contingencies
