QUALIFICATIONS REQUISES :

  • Diplôme d’études collégiales (DEC) ou un diplôme d’études professionnelles (DEP) en secrétariat ou technique de bureautique et un minimum de 3 années d’expérience pertinente en secrétariat;
  • Connaissance de la terminologie financière et comptable (un atout);
  • Connaissance du CRM (un atout);
  • Maîtrise de la suite Microsoft Office;
  • Excellent français (parlé et écrit) et bonne connaissance de l’anglais* (parlé et écrit);
  • Forte habileté en organisation, esprit d’analyse et de respect des échéanciers;
  • Orientation vers la qualité, le service, le travail d’équipe et le respect;
  • Connaissance des structures et des opérations de l’Église catholique (un atout).

ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

The Archdiocese of Montreal is looking for a dedicated and organized Administrative Assistant to join our dynamic team.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Working under the supervision of the Diocesan Bursar, the Administrative Assistant will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of administrative activities, the coordination of projects and the logistical support necessary to achieve the objectives of three departments: Finance, Philanthropic Development, and the Office of the Vicar General.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Diploma of Collegial Studies (DEC) or a Diploma of Vocational Studies (DVS) in secretarial or office automation technology and a minimum of 3 years of relevant secretarial experience;
  • Knowledge of financial and accounting terminology (an asset);
  • Knowledge of CRM (an asset);
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite;
  • Excellent French (spoken and written) and good knowledge of English* (spoken and written);
  • Strong organizational skills, analytical skills and respect for deadlines;
  • Orientation towards quality, service, teamwork and respect;
  • Knowledge of the structures and operations of the Catholic Church (an asset).

Responsibilities:

  • Compose and prepare correspondence and reports;
  • Ensure communications on behalf of the Chair of the Board of Directors or Committee and the Secretary-Treasurer;
  • Coordinate the logistics of board and committee meetings, including room reservations and preparation;
  • Take notes during all meetings;
  • Write and ensure the distribution of minutes and various minutes to the various stakeholders;
  • Maintain up-to-date rosters of members and follow up on appointments;
  • Update and maintain records and document filing systems, including electronic document management;
  • Filing relevant documents in a timely manner;
  • Perform various writing and correspondence work;
  • Sort and distribute incoming and outgoing mail;
  • Perform any other tasks required by the diocesan services mentioned.
