Bilinguisme, français et anglais (oral et écrit) compte tenu de la clientèle, des mandats et du rayonnement international du cabinet;
Bonne connaissance du logiciel MS Office (formation interne offerte);
Capacité à accomplir des tâches pour plusieurs personnes simultanément avec un minimum de supervision;
Respect des échéances et capacité à travailler sous pression;
Souci du détail, éthique professionnelle, intégrité et confidentialité.

Job description: The incumbent will assist and work with a team of lawyers in the management of their practice and provide administrative support in the execution of mandates.
Immediate report: This position reports to Manager, Legal Administrative Assistants
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Certification as an administrative assistant, legal assistant, or equivalent experience
Experience in a professional services environment, an asset
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bilingual written and spoken (French and English) given the clientele, mandates, and international scope of the firm
Good knowledge of MS Office (in-house training provided)
Ability to accomplish tasks for several people simultaneously with a minimum of supervision
Ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast paced environment
Attention to detail, strong professional work ethic, integrity and confidentiality

Responsibilities:
Format, type, and proof complex legal documents using Word, Excel or Powerpoint
Manage internal and client deadlines
Prepare and edit correspondence, minutes of meetings and other legal documents from written, oral and dictated sources
Maintain and properly close and/or purge files; numerize and file Firm and Client correspondence and legal documents
Prepare new business records and engagement letters
Perform time entries
Schedule meetings and make travel arrangements
Answer calls, distribute messages; set up conference calls; send and receive emails and faxes; resolve issues as needed; open, sort and distribute mail
Reconcile expense reimbursements
Maintain lawyer’s calendars in Outlook; schedule internal and external meetings; reserve conference rooms
Any other legal administrative task
