Description:

Saskatchewan Food Industry Development Centre is looking for a full time admin and executive assistant. This role will serve as the first impression of the Food Centre. You will provide an exceptional customer service, provide support to the President and be an essential component of the team.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Attention to detail
  • Positive attitude and good team player
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize, and work independently
  • Good organizational, analytical abilities and problem solving skills

Responsibilities:

  • Organize and maintain client correspondence files and records, both paper and electronic
  • Manage daily clerical operations including filing, photocopying, sorting and distribution of mail and courier services
  • Answer, forward and log all telephone calls and messages etc. Assist with management of telephone system.
  • Front desk reception, assist with building security and opening & lockup each business day.
  • Provide a range of information to potential clients, including the preparation and follow-up of Client Information Packages, directing to departments accordingly.
  • Maintain and coordinate service for office equipment.
  • Maintain office supplies for the Food Centre as required.
  • Management of meeting room scheduling.
  • Assist with workshops, seminars and meetings including room set-up, registration, catering services, special requests, etc.
  • Support the President’s communications, schedule and meetings
  • Support the Board of Directors related activities, documentation and correspondence.
  • Assist in accounting duties as required.
  • Prepare of various documentations, including shipping/receiving documents, client/employee information.
