Description:

The Integrated Community Stroke Service provides specialist care for Stroke and Transient Ischaemic Attack (TIA) or mini stroke patients, their families and carers throughout Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.
The team consists of a Countywide Lead, Locality Team Leads, Stroke Specialist Nurses, Therapists, Business Support Supervisor, Secretaries and Administrative Assistants (this role). Under the direction of the Business Support Supervisor, this role will support the Integrated Community Stroke Service in administrative and secretarial duties, patient bookings and assisting with the input of clinical activity data.
This post can be split between Bodmin Health Centre and Camborne Redruth Community Hospital.

The post holder will be a key foundation member in providing full clerical support to various key functions within the ICSS Team to provide an efficient and effective administrative service. Be the first point of contact for all patients, their relatives, carers, health and social care professionals, referrers and visitors and ensure they are fully assisted, as required.
