Due to internal promotion, our Administration team is seeking a highly accurate, proactive and organised Administration Assistant, with excellent ICT and interpersonal skills, to start as soon as possible. A willingness to work flexibly and administration experience are essential. Use of school MIS systems is desirable, but training will be given. Your duties will be varied and may include assisting in a number of different areas across the school when required.
The Weald is a high achieving, popular and oversubscribed 11-18 comprehensive school and sixth form college, situated in the heart of the West Sussex countryside, 10 minutes from Horsham, 35 minutes from Guildford and Brighton, and an hour by train to London. The school has an excellent record of academic and pastoral achievement and we pride ourselves in creating a caring and respectful ethos where every child is important. In the summer of 2023, our A-level results placed us top in West Sussex maintained schools for A*-B grades and in the top 5% of schools and colleges nationally; at GCSE we have a long record of students achieving over a third of a grade higher than their targets.
The closing date for applications is 10am on Wednesday 4th September 2024, and interviews will be held week commencing 9th September 2024.
An application pack may be downloaded from our website www.theweald.org.uk. Please note that an application form must be completed for this post and should be returned to jobs@theweald.org.uk.
We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. The successful candidate will be subject to pre-employment checks including an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
We are committed to diversity and inclusion, offering a supportive and welcoming environment for all.
