Are you a detail-oriented bookkeeper with great customer service skills? Do you enjoy working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment? We’re looking for a reliable Bookkeeper & Customer Service Officer to join our team at [Mechanic Shop Name].
About the Role:
As our Bookkeeper & Customer Service Officer, you’ll be responsible for keeping our finances in order while providing top-notch customer support. You’ll work closely with our mechanics, suppliers, and customers to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Bookkeeping & Financials
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable
  • Process invoices, receipts, and payments
  • Reconcile bank statements and financial records
  • Prepare BAS, payroll, and superannuation (if applicable)
  • Assist with financial reporting and budgeting
  • Customer Service & Admin
  • Greet customers and handle inquiries in person, over the phone, and via email
  • Schedule appointments and manage workshop bookings
  • Prepare job orders and invoices for repairs and services
  • Maintain customer records and service history
  • Liaise with suppliers and order parts as needed

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience in bookkeeping, accounts, or administration (mechanic shop experience a plus!)
  • Proficiency with accounting software (MYOB, Xero, or similar)
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • A friendly, professional, and team-oriented attitude
  • Knowledge of the automotive industry is a bonus but not essential
