Sous la supervision du Directeur T.I., l’administrateur système T.I. assure le fonctionnement optimal de l’équipement informatique et procède à différents types d’analyses. Vous assurez le suivi des services, des demandes d’information et d’assistances aux usagers. Vous gèrez des projets auxquels vous est assigné. Vous assisterez, s’il y a lieu, aux réunions nécessaires au bon déroulement des projets. Vous effectuerez les recherches de nouveaux produits qui répondent plus adéquatement aux besoins des nouveaux environnements et participe à l’installation et cela en fonction des orientations de la Direction.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide server administration and ensure optimal operation of all physical, virtual and cloud infrastructure.
  • Respond as 3rd Level Support for all escalated incidents, major incidents, and security related events.
  • Ensure proper data security protocols and procedures are followed.
  • Manage all assigned projects and deliverables with documentation and closing presentations.
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings with internal or external stakeholders.
  • Proactively participate in the optimization of IT infrastructure operations to minimize deficiencies that lead to poor performance, excessive/unnecessary costs, or avoidable downtime.
  • Plan and perform any necessary server maintenance, review backups, and operating system updates.
  • Collaborate on incidents and projects involving the network administrator(s), security analyst(s), service desk manager and/or other external stakeholders
  • Provide after-hours production support during the on-call rotation
  • Performs problem analysis, evaluation of different solutions and submits recommendations and business case where applicable.
  • Participates in the procurement process and may prepare requisitions when required
  • Develops the methods, standards and procedures as well as the means of control to be implemented to ensure proper functioning of systems, equipment and services
  • Develops training content or conducts training sessions post implementation.
