JOB OVERVIEW
Brentside is a popular and vibrant 11-19 mixed, multi-ethnic comprehensive school of 1600 students. We require, from as soon as possible, an Administration and Finance Assistant to join our learning community, and our excellent Administration team.
We are looking for a dedicated and dependable individual with strong attention to detail, the ability to process and analyse information accurately and to communicate clearly both in writing and orally.
The appointee will be carrying out a mixture of day-to-day financial tasks using SIMS FMS, working under the direction of the Finance Officer, as well as administrative tasks, under the guidance of the Office Manager.
As such, the role will include elements of routine as well as variety and will require the role holder to be able to multi-task and work efficiently under pressure.
We are looking for someone who is organised, methodical and able to follow correct procedures and complete tasks effectively to support the smooth running of the school’s operations.
You will be joining a supportive team of equally committed individuals who are passionate about the quality of their work but also care about each other’s wellbeing.
We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults and expect all staff to share this commitment.
If you believe you have the passion, determination and high expectations to contribute to our vibrant and cohesive community, we look forward to hearing from you.
The school is committed to safeguarding children and the successful applicant will be required to apply for an enhanced disclosure from the DBS. Further information can be found at
