An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and passionate Sales & Business Support Specialist to join Abbott Rapid Diagnostics’ division located at East Brisbane, Qld.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

  • Certificate IV in Business Administration or qualifications in marketing or a business discipline or equivalent desirable.
  • High attention to detail.
  • High degree of independence and self-motivation.
  • Ability to work cohesively and cooperatively in a team.
  • Results oriented and driven to succeed.
  • 3-5 Years of experience in a similar role.
  • Experience in a similar healthcare industry including Pharmaceutical or Medical devices is highly desirable.

Responsibilities:

  • The Sales & Business Support Specialist is responsible for providing administrative support to the Infectious Diseases (ANZPI) business, under the direction of the General Manager.
  • The activities include providing general administrative support to sales and marketing functions including improving end to end business processes, assisting with the compilation of business reports and tenders, interactions to support conferences and other duties/ad hoc project management per business requirements.
  • Compilation of business reports and tenders.
  • Providing quotations for clients as guided by the Business/Commercial Account Managers.
  • Assisting with the creation of PowerPoint presentations for the Business Unit
  • Organising training/meeting sessions as required.
  • Work within and improve the Distributor Management process including ensuring current processes meet Abbot compliance and maintaining appropriate distributor records.
  • Working with legal & internal manager/stakeholder to produce, implement and manage contracts for customers & distribution partners.
  • Working with Sales Team & Comm Excellence Specialist to support existing contracts and minimum sales/volume requirements.
  • Supporting best practice with Customer Experience Manager (CEM) and Commercial Team for customer database & funnel in the CRM (salesforce.com), ensuring information is up to date.
  • Providing support for Conferences/Trade shows throughout the year including booth materials and roster.
