Description:
INTERESTED IN THIS VACANCY BUT NOT SURE YOU MATCH ALL THE REQUIREMENTS?
At Ashfords, we are committed to building a diverse and inclusive workforce. We offer training and development opportunities to all of our people to help everyone reach their full potential. Even if your skills and experience aren’t a perfect match, we’d still love to hear from you. If you’re not the right candidate for this role, you could be the right candidate for other positions at Ashfords.
For an informal and confidential discussion about this opportunity, please contact Alison Board, Talent Attraction Assistant, on 01392 333663 or via email a.board@ashfords.co.uk.
Or apply now, and we will be in touch with you as soon as possible.
Responsibilities:
We are on the lookout for a proactive and enthusiastic administrator to join our Exeter office, to provide administration and organisational support to the Knowledge Management team. As an integral part of the team, you’ll ensure the provision of an efficient and effective PA and secretarial support service to the team; whilst expanding your skills in Knowledge Management, Learning and Development, and the IT systems that support us.
You will help organise both firmwide and departmental legal training and support the Professional Support Lawyers and Ashfords’ Learning Contacts in saving their knowledge content to the firm’s Knowledge Management System in a uniform and efficient way. You will oversee the management of logins to portals and other subscriptions, including welcome emails and support to new starters.
Using your administration and organisational skills, your responsibilities would include logging and keeping track of our small library of hard copy books; ordering new books and online resources when necessary. You will also help with ‘looseleaf’ updating, and with organising meetings which would include taking minutes and progressing actions afterwards.
Creating networks across the firm, you’ll be involved with testing, implementation, and effective use of certain IT products and helping to create efficiencies for both fee earners and support staff across the firm.
