WORKING ARRANGEMENTS

  • Working days: Monday – Friday 9:30am until 14:30pm
    We offer flexible working arrangements. The service base are located in Barrow, Kendal, or Morecambe, and the base for the role will be whichever is closest to the employee’s home address.
    We are seeking an Administrative Assistant to join our experienced administration team. Your role will be to support our service’s smooth and efficient running. Administrative assistants work with a team of mental health practitioners and therapists to ensure that children and families receive professional services.
    Successful candidates must demonstrate good organisational skills, attention to detail, numeracy and literacy skills, and an ability to work with Microsoft Office programs such as Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Key responsibilities include:

  • The processing of referrals the service receives onto our internal database.
  • The printing and posting of the services correspondence.
  • To provide administrative support to the managers and project staff.
  • To make necessary telephone calls and to schedule or cancel appointments as required.
  • Ensuring confidentiality requirements are managed appropriately.
  • Assist the Service Administrator in providing performance management data and reporting to internal and external stakeholders as needed.

Applicants must be capable of working independently. This interesting role requires a flexible approach, task prioritisation and proactive problem-solving skills.
