Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to develop your career in a dynamic and fast-paced environment? We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Business Support Administrator to join our team and help us deliver exceptional service to our business partners.
This is an Administration Assistant position supporting multiple business divisions across the Europe, Middle East and Africa region from our office in South Woodham Ferrers, Essex.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR?

We’re seeking someone who’s not only skilled but also brings a positive and proactive approach to their work. Here’s what makes you a great fit:

  • Experience: At least 6 months of office-based experience
  • Education: Minimum of GCSE or equivalent in Maths & English (4+ or A-C).
  • Strong organizational skills and excellent time management.
  • A team player who can also work independently when needed.
  • Punctual and reliable with great attention to detail.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, SharePoint is essential.
  • Comfortable managing your own workload under a Service Level Agreement.
  • Composed and controlled under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • A problem-solver who takes accountability and learns from feedback.
  • Flexible, with a good work ethic and willingness to support overtime when needed.

WHAT ELSE SHOULD I KNOW?

  • Overtime is expected at peak periods but not guaranteed
  • The role is commutable from Basildon, Southend on Sea, Chelmsford and surrounding areas by bus, train or car
  • The successful applicant will be primarily Office based

Responsibilities:

  • Creating and maintaining contracts within the SAP Hana system.
  • Reviewing and following up on trading and expense documentation to meet regulatory requirements.
  • Managing requests for accurate financial postings in Mitsui’s accounting books.
  • Maintaining and updating customer, vendor, and service provider records in internal systems.
  • Processing day-to-day workloads for various departments, with quality checks as needed.
  • Assisting with business process queries and troubleshooting.
  • Building positive working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Storing and maintaining audit documentation in line with Data Protection Regulations
