Description:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a new member of the growing team at the Northumbria Health and Care Academy. This role joins the existing administration team to provide support to teaching staff and academic programme delivery, working in partnership with colleagues at the University of Sunderland.
The post-holder will work under the supervision of the Education Administrator to organise events, manage and update databases and spreadsheets, control and manage simulation ward stock and consumables and a number of associated tasks. A significant element of this role will be to manage and collate compliance documents for our apprenticeship team.
To provide a general reception, clerical and administrative service and support to the Practice Education Team and Practice Development Team and Team at the Health and Care Academy.
We manage three major locality hospitals at North Tyneside, Wansbeck and Hexham, plus a number of smaller community hospitals and clinics from Tynemouth to Berwick on Tweed, in addition to our state-of-the-art Northumbria Specialist Emergency Care Hospital, the first of its kind in England. We also care for people in their homes and provide services from facilities in local communities such as health centres. We give people greater choice and control over their care to help them to live independently at home and avoid hospital admission where appropriate. To provide a general reception, clerical and administrative service and support to the Practice Education Team and Practice Development Team. Works as a member of the team contributing to the smooth running of both teams by efficiently providing an effective clerical support service. Works within a clear framework of delegated tasks but without continuous supervision
