About the role
An exciting opportunity exists for an administration assistant to join our fabulous Ambulatory team on a casual basis. The Ambulatory Services Administration Assistant is responsible for performing clerical and receptionist duties for our Outpatient services. The role will primarily be based at Elsternwick but there may be intermittent requirements to work at Malvern.

About You
We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic administration assistant who is committed to providing high-quality customer service for our outpatients and home-based patients and teams.
Key responsibilities:
- Performs reception duties, offering hospitality and efficient services to all outpatients and staff.
- Maintains appointment bookings with Allied Health Clinicians and Nurses.
- Provides relevant service information to patients and, where appropriate, gain and record informed financial consent.
- Complete invoicing/receipting of payment with HiCAPs and Medicare, and maintain chronic disease management plans
- Escalates complex patient concerns to the relevant service manager
- Develops and maintains a good knowledge of Cabrini ambulatory services and staff
- Maintains confidentiality and respects sensitive information, adhering to Australian Privacy Principles 2014 and Cabrini Privacy Policy.
About you:
- Strong attention to detail and fantastic customer service skills
- Ability to work well within a team and have a flexible approach to tasks allocated
- Proficient in Microsoft Office package, including good keyboard skills, word processing, and accurate data entry
- Experience working in healthcare and training in medical terminology is highly desirable
