Job Introduction
This role has a starting salary of £26,777 per annum, based on a 36 hour working week.This is an 18-month fixed term contract/ secondment opportunity.
We are excited to be hiring a new Administration Assistant to join our fantastic Guildford Locality team based at Millmead House, Millmead, Guildford, GU2 4BB.

About the Role As an Administration Assistant, you will provide comprehensive administrative support to a front-line operational team. You will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and you will be expected to deal with complex telephone enquiries and a wide range of correspondence and scanning duties. Additionally, you will be asked to take notes, and minutes of meetings and be entering data on both the mainframe database and Excel spreadsheets.

Shortlisting CriteriaTo be considered for shortlisting for this position, your application will clearly evidence the following:

  • Excellent administrative and organisation skills
  • Passion for customer service and your desire to support both the team and wider Surrey residents
  • Sound knowledge of IT packages such as Excel, Word, and databases and your quick and accurate data entry skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Note-taking and minute-taking skills
