    This post is a new and exciting role in our Diabetes department. T he role will be based at Royal Stoke Hospital, where you will be working a friendly and busy team.
    The post holder is required to support the Diabetes department in the delivery of a comprehensive administrative service to a specialty team.
    Main duties of the role are to be responsible for the administration of the insulin pump service. This includes order processing and liaison with outside agencies to ensure timely provision of insulin pumps for our patients. The post holder will also be required to add referrals/book/change appointments for the Diabetes Specialist Nurse led service, maintaining patient pathways and adhering to RTT rules (referral to treatment) and covering the phones as and when needed to help support the team and service needs. Full training will be provided.
    The successful candidate will be required to hot desk throughout the working week. However, this will be as limited as possible, with a view to create a more permanent desk should desk space become available.
