OVERVIEW

We are seeking a meticulous and organised person to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in assisting the team in the legal aspects of property transactions, ensuring that all processes are conducted smoothly and efficiently. This position requires strong administrative skills and attention to detail, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with clients, estate agents, mortgage brokers and other team members.

SKILLS

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise matters.
  • Proficient in administrative tasks, including data entry and document preparation.
  • Ability to type accurately and efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Experience with practice management systems is not essential and training will be given.
  • Excellent phone etiquette for professional communication with clients and colleagues.
  • Strong clerical skills to support overall office operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Open electronic files and prepare documents related to property matters.
  • Instigate property searches.
  • Liaise with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other parties involved in the transaction.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with legal requirements.
  • Handle data entry tasks and maintain organised files for each case.
  • Provide excellent phone etiquette when communicating with clients.
  • Carry out anti-money laundering checks in line with statutory and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in reception and other clerical administration duties as needed to support the conveyancing team.
